Nana Otimpie Aben II

Nana Ofori Amoako-Attah was enstooled as Otumfuo's Sasamopanin Hene on December 7, 2008, at Manhyia Palace, Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana, West Africa.

He was born on January 3, 1950, in the small town of Suame, Kumasi in Ghana. He is the first child of the late Nana Akua Konadu Amankwah1(SasamoHemaa)and the late Opanin Kwame Ofori of Mampong Adi-Dwan.Also, influential in his life was his grandfather, the late Odehye Nana Osei-Bonsu, Baabriwhene of Asante Manpong, his wife, the late Mrs. Bertha Osei-Bonsu, and theirson Hon, K.G. Osei-Bonsu (a former Minister of State in the 2 nd Republic of Ghana.)

Nana, the eldest of seven children showed erect leadership and love for all people andwas destined to ascendto the throne eventually as a philanthropist. He supports about 69 Orphans in Kumasi and Danase Children's home.Nana studied and worked hard to achieve his goals as a student and ultimately become a successful community leader and entrepreneur. Having graduated with high honors from Wesley College Practicing School, he earned his O-level certificate from Kumasi Secondary Technical School and his degree in Hotel Management and Accounting from Kumasi Polytechnic.Upon coming to America,Nana received a scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). After graduation, Nanawas accepted into the famous Society of Food Service Management (SFM).

He was allowed to manage Bank of America's Institutional Food Service, Chemical Banks Institutional Food Service, Lummis Combustion Engineering, and Exxon=-Mobil in Edison, New Jersey. During this time Nana was saving towards having his own business. He also perused Rutgers University College of Business and Arts School, New Jersey, and attained MASTERS in Real Estate Development. Nana now owns one of the most enormous food chain supplies in New Jersey called CharlottFields Int'l Food Distributors (Makola Market). He's also the owner of Sasamo FC in the second division of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), a soccer team to supports the orphans in his community.

Despite all of his dedication to studies and hard work, Nana found time for romantic life and married his childhood sweetheart, "Abena Adjeiwaa whom most knew as Charlotte E. Sarfo. They have 4 children, Princess Antoinette (Nana Akua Hemaa Boatemaah), Princess Jacklyn (Nana Akosua Konadu Amankwaah), Julian Nana Amoako-Attah (Chief) and Bertha Nana Amoako Ofori-Attah
